2/26/2023 0 Comments Star ruler 2 mods![]() ![]() ![]() A properly done shipset mod doesn't affect anything about the game beyond adding of ships, so it has little chance of conflicting with anything or screwing anything up. Simple shipset mods are probably the safest and most portable type of mod on the workshop. There really isn't any reason to limit yourself like that. If for some reason, you simply refuse to use even basic shipset mods, then I guess you're stuck and at the mercy of what the devs published. That's something like 150-200 new ship models all available to you for use. I have personally published 11 different shipsets to date, many of them having 15-20+ new hulls and some of them containing ships intended to be used at up to size 19,000 before you're "overscaling" them. The greatest difficulty is assembling decent meshes and textures. ![]() ![]() If the complaint is simply that you wish you had more variety in ship models, modding those is fairly basic. The only time they don't is when you retrofit, and that's an unfortunate limitation of the engine. You can set a ship to be whatever size you like and the ships do visually scale up in size along with it. I don't really understand the complaint here. im saying that i wish the devs made ships larger than that that are different cosmetically Originally posted by Lone _ Ninja:i know. ![]()
